Insider reveals what Eden Hazard has told Chelsea FC about summer transfers
Sky Sports News reporter Dharmesh Sheth sheds light on Eden Hazard's current situation at Chelsea FC
Eden Hazard wants assurances that Chelsea FC are going to sign some players to improve the Blues this summer, Dharmesh Sheth has claimed.
The Belgian international’s future has been a constant source of speculation in recent years, which is hardly surprising given the current turmoil at the west London outfit after their fifth-placed finish last term.
Antonio Conte is still officially the Chelsea FC manager but former Napoli head coach Maurizio Sarri is being widely tipped to take over the reins at Stamford Brige ahead of the new season.
The 27-year-old has been heavily linked with a possible exit in the summer transfer window given Hazard will miss out on Champions League football for the second time in three seasons.
Real Madrid has often been touted as a possible destination for the Chelsea FC number 10, while Ligue 1 side Paris Saint-Germain have been regularly linked with a move to sign Hazard.
Sky Sports News reporter Sheth claimed that Hazard wants assurances from Chelsea FC about potential summer signings.
“I wouldn’t be surprised if there is a chance this Fekir deal can be revived,” Sheth told the Transfer Talk podcast. “He won’t go for anyone else until he is certain this guy is exactly what he wants him to be and the fitness he wants him to be.”
Hazard has won two Premier League titles, the FA Cup, the League Cup and the Europa League during a six-season spell at the west London outfit.
Chelsea FC finished in fifth place last season behind Spurs and Liverpool FC.
