Chelsea FC could offload up to five players in the summer transfer window as incoming Blues manager Maurizio Sarri plots a major overhaul, according to a report in England.
The Daily Express is reporting that Sarri is close to becoming the new Chelsea FC manager despite Antonio Conte still occupying the post at the west London outfit.
The same article states that Chelsea FC will look to sell Alvaro Morata this summer amid talk of a £60m bid from Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund.
According to the same article, the Blues could contemplate the sale of Willian to their bitter rivals Manchester United despite criticism surrounding their decision to allow Nemanja Matic to move from Stamford Bridge to Old Trafford last summer.
The English media outlet goes on to suggest that Davide Zappacosta’s time at the Blues could be up less than 12 months after his arrival, while David Luiz’s frustrating spell at Chelsea FC could be coming to an end.
Another Chelsea FC flop Danny Drinkwater is also in line to leave the club following a frustrating season for the England international at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues ended up in fifth spot in the Premier League last term but did win the FA Cup.
