Maurizio Sarri has identified Matias Vecino and Jose Maria Callejon as his top two targets once he becomes Chelsea FC boss, according to a report.

The Daily Mail is reporting that Sarri is already putting together his Chelsea FC backroom staff despite no official announcement from the west London side about his anticipated appointment.

The same article states that the former Napoli head coach is set to hold further talks with the 2017 Premier League champions in the English capital this week with Chelsea FC about becoming their manager.

According to the same story, Inter Milan’s Uruguay international Matias Vecino and Napoli forward Jose Callejon are at the top of Sarri’s wishlist in the 2018 summer transfer window.

The Italian head coach will have his work cut out at Chelsea FC after the Blues finished in fifth spot in the Premier League table last term to miss out on Champions League football for the 2017-18 season.

The west London side won the Premier League title in 2016-17 after Italian head coach Antonio Conte led the Blues to the top flight crown in his first season in charge of the west London side.

Chelsea FC were 1-0 winners against Manchester United in the FA Cup final at Wembley last season.
