French newspaper Le Parisien, as quoted by the Daily Star, is reporting that Chelsea FC are bracing themselves for interest from La Liga giants FC Barcelona and Real Madrid in their holding midfielder.
The same article states that Ligue 1 champions are also considering a move to sign the 27-year-old France international as a long-term replacement for Italian midfielder Thiago Motta.
According to the same story, FC Barcelona view Kante as a player capable of helping the Catalan side to fill Andres Iniesta’s void in the middle of the park in the 2018-19 La Liga season.
Le Parisien adds that the Spanish champions have invited Kante’s family to come to Camp Nou to watch FC Barcelona play for free in an attempt secure an advantage over PSG and Real Madrid.
Kante won the Premier League title with Leicester City in the 2015-16 season before the France international won the English top flight crown with Chelsea FC in the 2016-17 campaign.
The Chelsea FC star was named the PFA player of the year after he transformed the Blues into title winners.
