Chelsea FC want to use Alvaro Morata to sign exciting Dortmund forward – report
Chelsea FC are interested in a deal that would see Alvaro Morata head to Dortmund and Christian Pulisic move to the English capital
Chelsea FC are ready to offer Borussia Dortmund the chance to sign Alvaro Morata in a potential deal that would see Christian Pulisic move to Stamford Bridge, according to a report in England.
The Daily Mail, as quoted by The Sun, is reporting that Chelsea FC are eager to sign £60m-rated Pulisic in the summer transfer window to bolster their options ahead of the new Premier League campaign.
The same article states that Dortmund are keen on a deal to sign Morata after the Spain international struggled with injury problems and a loss of form in his debut season at Chelsea FC.
According to the same story, the Blues hope to capitalise on Dortmund’s interest in Morata and use the 25-year-old as a makeweight in a potential deal to bring the American playmaker to the English capital.
The Daily Mail added that Chelsea FC will face competition from Bundesliga outfit Bayern Munich in the summer transfer window.
Chelsea FC finished in fifth spot in the Premier League table last term to miss out on Champions League football for the second time in three seasons.
The Blues were 1-0 winners against Manchester United in the FA Cup final at Wembley.
