The Belgium international is facing an uncertain future at the west London side after another disappointing season at Chelsea FC.
Former Atletico Madrid shot stopper Courtois has entered the final 12 months of his current Chelsea FC deal to raise question about his future.
Courtois has been linked with a potential move to La Liga giants Real Madrid over the past few seasons, while a return to Atletico has also been mooted.
Liverpool FC have been touted as a suitor for the Belgium goalkeeper as Jurgen Klopp looks to sign a proven number one goalkeeper.
Sky Sports News reporter Woods is unsure whether Chelsea FC would contemplate the sale of Courtois to a direct rival.
“Would Chelsea let him go to another Premier League club?” Woods told the Transfer Talk podcast. “It’s a difficult one.”
Chelsea FC finished in fifth spot in the Premier League table last season to miss out on a Champions League spot for the second successive campaign.
The Blues were 1-0 winners against Manchester United in the FA Cup final thanks to Eden Hazard’s winner from the spot.
