Crystal Palace have joined the race to sign Jack Wilshere from Arsenal this summer, according to reports in the British media.

The Daily Mirror is reporting that the Eagles are the latest club to express an interest in signing the England midfielder this summer as the speculation about his future rumbles on.

Wilshere’s future has been a constant source of debate over the last few months because his current contract with Arsenal is set to expire this summer.

The 26-year-old is yet to sign a new deal and it remains to be seen whether he will stay at his boyhood club or seek a new challenge elsewhere.

The same story says that Wilshere is now pondering his future because he has been told by new Arsenal boss Unai Emery that he will not be a guaranteed starter next season.

The same article says that the midfielder has been offered a new contract worth £110,000-a-week – plus a £65,000 win bonus at Arsenal ahead of next season.

The story claims that Wilshere is attracting interest from Palace, West Ham United, Wolves and Everton this summer.

Meanwhile, Arsenal are believed to be on the lookout for a number of new signings this summer as they look to try and break back into the top four next term.
