The France international has long been linked with a transfer away from Atletico Madrid, with the midfielder having been strongly touted with a move to Old Trafford last summer before he opted to stay at the Spanish club.
More recently, Griezmann has been touted as a target for FC Barcelona as the Spanish side look to strengthen their squad ahead of next season.
Now, the player himself has revealed that he has made a decision about his future but refused to reveal where he will be playing his football next season.
Griezmann is quoted as saying by ESPN: “I apologise – I am really very sorry. I know that many of you were waiting for [his decision], but I will not be revealing it today. I have made my choice.
“However, today is not the time, nor the place, to say what it is.”
According to the same story, FC Barcelona had been hoping to sign Griezmann on 1 July, when his release clause drops to €100m, but Atletico have offered him an improved contract worth a reported €23m a year.
Both Manchester United and FC Barcelona are thought to be on the lookout for a number of new signings this summer as they look to significantly strengthen their squads ahead of next season.
The Red Devils have already signed both Diogo Dalot and Fred as Jose Mourinho looks to try and guide Manchester United to the Premier League title next term.
