Gonzalo Higuain has fuelled talk of a potential move to Chelsea FC after admitting he would love to sample the Premier League.

The Argentina international is facing an uncertain future at Serie A champions Juventus amid talk of a potential exit this summer.

Higuain has won successive Scudettos with the Turin side following his big-money move to the Serie A giants from their bitter rivals Napoli in 2016.

The South American forward scored 16 times and made six assists in 36 games in their title-winning campaign under Massimiliano Allegri.

Chelsea FC are on the lookout for potential options to improve their attack next season following Alvaro Morata’s difficult first season at the Blues.

Ironically, the Spain international has been linked with a potential return to Juventus to prompt some talk of a swap deal involving Morata and Higuain.

And the Juventus striker fanned the speculation linking the Argentinian forward with a move to the Premier League in an interview with ESPN on Thursday.

Asked about reported interest from England, Higuain is quoted as saying:

“I have a contract with Juventus and no one has communicated anything different.

“I’m very calm, my soul stays in Turin for now.

“But I would love to play in the Premier League, it fascinates me a lot.”

Chelsea FC finished in fifth spot in the Premier League table but won the FA Cup thanks to a 1-0 win against Manchester United.
