Liverpool FC are not likely to bid to try and sign Alisson this summer, according to reports
Liverpool FC are unlikely to make a bid to try and sign goalkeeper Alisson from AS Roma this summer, according to reports in the British media.
Sky Sports is reporting that the Reds are unlikely to try and sign the goalkeeper this summer despite having been strongly linked with a move for the Brazilian recently.
The same story says that the Reds are not likely to be willing to meet AS Roma’s £80m valuation of the shot-stopper this summer, and could therefore look elsewhere for a new goalkeeper.
The article also claims that Real Madrid is Alisson’s most likely destination this summer.
Liverpool FC are thought to be on the lookout for a new goalkeeper this summer as they bid to try and bolster their options between the posts ahead of next season.
The goalkeeping situation at Anfield has come under scrutiny in the wake of Loris Karius’ nightmare in the Champions League final last month.
Liverpool FC finished in fourth place in the Premier League table last season and reached the Champions League final, where they were beaten 3-1 by Real Madrid as Karius made two glaring errors in the second half.
The Reds have already signed Brazilian midfielder Fabinho from Monaco this summer.
