Dharmesh Sheth has revealed that Emre Can is “likely” to leave Liverpool FC and sign for Juventus this summer.

The Germany midfielder’s future has been a constant source of speculation in recent months because his current contract at Anfield is set to expire this summer.

Can was missing from the Liverpool FC side in recent months due to a back injury, although he did make it onto the bench for the Champions League final at the weekend.

The 24-year-old midfielder has been heavily linked with a possible move to Italian side Juventus in recent months, with Can potentially joining the Serie A club on a free transfer when his contract expires.

And Sky Sports News reporter Sheth has revealed that it is looking increasingly likely that Can will indeed leave Liverpool FC on a free transfer in the summer.

Speaking on the Sky Sports Transfer Centre podcast, Sheth said: “It looks more unlikely he will stay at Liverpool.

“I think Can is on his way to Juventus.”

Liverpool FC have been coming to terms with the disappointment of losing the Champions League final to Real Madrid on Saturday.

The Reds suffered a 3-1 loss to the Spanish side in Kiev, as Zinedine Zidane led Los Blancos to their third straight Champions League trophy.
