Liverpool FC will have to pay extra £10m if they want to sign quality 24-year-old – report
Liverpool FC will have to stump up an extra £10m if they want to sign Nabil Fekir this summer, say reports
Liverpool FC will have to stump up a further £10m if they want to sign Nabil Fekir from Lyon this summer, according to reports in the French media.
The Daily Mirror is quoting unnamed sources in France as claiming that the Reds could still resurrect their move to try and bring the 24-year-old attacker to Anfield this summer.
The same report, though, says that Liverpool FC are not ruling out the possibility of another bid to try and bring Fekir to Anfield this summer.
However, amid reported competition from Real Madrid for his signature, the Reds would have to pay £62m, which would be a significant increase on their initial bid.
Liverpool FC were thought to be on the verge of completing a deal to sign Fekir earlier this month, only for the proposed transfer to fall through at the final hour.
Despite that, the Reds are still being linked with a possible second attempt to try and bring Fekir to Anfield this summer as Jurgen Klopp looks to bolster his squad.
Liverpool FC finished fourth in the Premier League last season, but they are still searching for their first major trophy under the German manager.
