Fabinho will add depth and flexibility to the Liverpool FC team next season, according to ESPN FC pundit Alejando Moreno.

The Reds completed a £39m deal to sign the Brazil international from Ligue 1 side AS Monaco last week.

Liverpool FC snapped up Fabinho despite the versatile midfielder being previously linked with a move to bitter rivals Manchester United.

The 24-year-old won the Ligue 1 title and helped AS Monaco to reach the Champions League semi-finals in 2016-17.

Fabinho spent on season on loan at Real Madrid and he played under former Chelsea FC boss Jose Mourinho at The Bernabeu.

ESPN FC pundit Moreno believes Fabinho will prove a good addition to the Liverpool FC team ahead of the 2017-18 season.

“He gives you depth,” Moreno told ESPN FC. “He gives you flexibility.”

Liverpool FC have finished in the Premier League’s top four in the last two seasons to ensure their continued participation in the Champions League.

The Reds finished in fourth place in the Premier League table to secure Champions League football for a second successive season.

Liverpool FC lost 3-1 to La Liga giants Real Madrid in the Champions League final in Kiev last weekend following Loris Karius’ nightmare.

Klopp replaced Brendan Rodgers at the Anfield outfit in October 2015.
