Bundesliga expert Honigstein shed light on Liverpool FC’s pursuit of the France international in the summer transfer window.
“He is a great player,” Honigstein told ESPN FC.
“He was the star of the Lyon team with Lacazette before his move to Arsenal. He has beniiftted from that move.
“He has found more freedom from a deeper position behind the centre-forward. He is a shadow striker. Liverpool don’t have a player in that position.
“That’s why Liverpool are buying him. He will give them more flexibility.”
