Liverpool FC are leading the race to sign Anderson Talisca from Benfica this summer, according to reports in the Portuguese media.
Portuguese outlet Record, as quoted by the Daily Mirror, is reporting that the Reds are keen on a move to bring the 24-year-old to Anfield this summer as Jurgen Klopp looks to significantly bolster his squad this summer.
The same story says that Liverpool FC also remain keen on a deal to bring Lyon playmaker Nabil Fekir to Anfield this summer.
According to the same article, a move to Anfield for Talisca could well be on the cards this summer after Besiktas opted not to take up the £18.5m option to buy him following his two-year spell on loan in Turkey.
He was a regular fixture in the Besiktas team over the last two years, scoring 37 goals in 78 appearances for the Turkish club.
Liverpool FC have already completed their first signing of the summer transfer window after having landed a deal to bring Brazilian midfielder Fabinho to Anfield last week.
The Reds will be looking to assemble a squad capable of winning the Premier League title next season after they finished in fourth place and without a trophy last term.
