Liverpool FC set to miss out on signing Brazilian attacker – report
Liverpool FC and Tottenham could be set to lose out to Inter Milan in the race for Malcom this summer, say reports
Liverpool FC and Tottenham Hotspur could be set to lose out to Inter Milan in a move to sign Malcom from Bordeaux this summer, according to reports in Italy.
Italian outlet Sky Sport Italia, as quoted by talkSPORT, is reporting that Inter Milan are putting the “finishing touches” on a loan move to bring the Brazilian attacker to the San Siro this summer.
Tottenham and Liverpool FC have both been strongly linked with a move to sign the 21-year-old winger this summer, but it now seems as though Inter are leading the race for his signature.
According to the same report, Inter Milan are prepare to pay £7m to sign Malcom on loan for next season, before paying a further £28m to make the move permanent next summer.
The same article says that Inter Milan had been hoping to buy Malcom up front on a permanent deal, but they do not currently have the funds to do so.
Liverpool FC have been linked with a number of attacking players this summer, including Lyon winger Nabil Fekir, who was believed to be close to a switch to Anfield before the proposed deal fell through.
The Reds finished fourth and reached the Champions League final last season.
