Liverpool FC and Manchester United have entered the race to sign Fiorentina's promising Federico Chiesa, according to a report
Liverpool FC and Manchester United have joined Chelsea FC in the race to sign Fiorentina star Federico Chiesa, according to a report in England.
The Guardian is reporting that Liverpool FC and Chelsea are interested in a deal to sign the 20-year-old in the summer transfer window.
The same article states that Chelsea FC and Manchester City are also monitoring the Fiorentina star, who is valued at £62m in the current transfer market.
According to the same story, Inter Milan are also interested in a potential swoop to sign Chiesa from Fiorentina ahead of the new Serie A campaign.
The promising Italian midfielder scored six goals and made five assists in 37 appearances last term to help La Viola finish in eighth spot in the Italian top flight table.
Chiesa made four appearances for the Italian national team throughout the 2017-18 domestic season to get some international experience under his belt.
The Fiorentina midfielder has scored 10 goals in 72 games in all competitions during his first two campaigns at Florence outfit.
Chiesa made his debut in a 2-1 loss to Serie A champions Juventus in the opening fixture of the 2016-17 Serie A campaign.
He scored his first ever senior goal in a 2-1 win over Qarabag in the Europa League in November 2016.
