Liverpool FC and Manchester United are among the many Premier League clubs interested in Norwich City star James Maddison, Kaveh Solhekol has claimed.

The 21-year-old is rated as one of the best players in the Championship following another impressive campaign for the Canaries despite failing to secure promotion.

Maddison scored 14 goals and made eight assists in 44 games in the English second tier to underline his growing reputation as a top attacking midfielder.

The England Under-21 international has been regularly linked with a move to top-four contenders Liverpool FC and Tottenham Hotspur, while Chelsea FC and Manchester United are also reported to have shown an interest.

Sky Sports News reporter Solhekol provided an update on the exciting Norwich midfielder and his future at Carrow Road beyond the summer transfer window.

“He has been linked with some of the biggest clubs in the Premier League: Liverpool, Everton, Spurs, Man City and Southampton,” Sohekol told the Transfer Talk podcast.

“The transfer fee would be somewhere between £25m and £30m. The question is whether he is good enough to play for one of the biggest clubs in the league.”

Liverpool FC signed Brazil international Fabinho in a £40m deal from Ligue 1 side AS Monaco last week.

Manchester United brought in South American midfielder Fred in a £52m deal from Ukrainian Premier League champions Shakhtar Donetsk.
