Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain welcomed Naby Keita to Liverpool FC this week
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain welcomed Naby Keita to Liverpool FC when the pair met for the first time at Melwood this week.
The Guinea international officially completed his move to Anfield from RB Leipzig this week after a deal was agreed for the transfer last summer.
Keita was shown around Liverpool FC’s training facilities at Melwood upon his arrival at his new club and he bumped into Oxlade-Chamberlain during his first tour of the training ground.
Oxlade-Chamberlain is currently undergoing his rehabilitation after suffering a serious knee injury towards the end of last season.
And the England midfielder looked pleased to meet his new team-mate as the pair encountered each other for the first time.
Oxlade-Chamberlain said: “Hey, you alright? You OK? Nice to meet you. Welcome!”
Keita then asked the midfielder how he was as he continues his recovery from the knee problem, to which Oxlade-Chamberlain replied: “Yeah not bad. Not as good as you, but I’m OK. Soon!”
