Liverpool FC want to make a new bid to try and bring Alisson Becker to the club from AS Roma, say reports
Liverpool FC are ready to make a second bid to try and sign goalkeeper Alisson Becker from AS Roma this summer, according to reports in Italy.
Italian outlet TransferMarketWeb, as quoted by the Daily Star, is reporting that the Reds are poised to try and make a second effort to try and bring the goalkeeper to Anfield this summer.
Liverpool FC have been strongly linked with a move to sign the Brazilian goalkeeper in recent months, but they are also believed to be facing competition from the likes of Real Madrid for his signature.
The same report says that Liverpool FC have already failed with a £57m bid to try and sign the goalkeeper, and that the Reds are considering returning with an improved offer this summer.
Liverpool FC are believed to be on the lookout for a number of new signings this summer as they look to try and assemble a squad capable of winning the Premier League next season.
The Reds have already confirmed their first signing of the summer by tying up a deal to bring in Brazilian midfielder Fabinho from Monaco at the start of the transfer window.
Liverpool FC finished fourth and reached the FA Cup final last term under Jurgen Klopp.
