The Belgian striker spent last season on loan to German side Wolfsburg and scored seven goals in 35 appearances across all competitions for the Bundesliga outfit.
Origi is scheduled to return to Liverpool FC this summer as he bids to try and fight for a first-team place at Anfield.
However, it remains to be seen whether he is in Klopp’s long-term plans at Liverpool FC for next season or not.
Now, Origi’s agent Simon Bayliff has been quoted as saying that the striker is planning to stay at Anfield and try to prove himself worthy of a spot in the first team at the Merseyside club for next season.
Bayliff told Turkish outlet A Spor: “For me that it was a mistake for Divock to go to the Wolfsburg.
“[Jurgen] Klopp will now make a decision on him.
“If he wants him to stay, then Divock will stay or if he wants him to leave then Divock will leave.
“We are not looking to leave on loan again.
“We want to go a team that has made plans for him. In that regard, we’ve also spoken with Besiktas.”
Liverpool FC have already made one signing this summer after having concluded a deal to bring Fabinho to Anfield from Monaco last week.
The Reds are thought to be on the lookout for a number of new signings this summer as they aim to try and challenge for the Premier League title next term following their fourth-placed finish this season.
