The Brazilian midfielder was officially confirmed as the Reds’ first signing of the summer transfer window last week as Jurgen Klopp moved quickly to start adding to his squad.
Keita is set to link up with his new Liverpool FC team-mates in the coming weeks when his transfer from RB Leipzig officially goes through later this summer.
And ESPN journalist Johnson is backing the two new Liverpool FC signings to have a big impact at Anfield in the seasons to come.
Speaking to Liverpool FC’s website, Johnson said: “Having also played right-back, Fabinho is a versatile figure and should blend well with the likes of Naby Keita.”
Liverpool FC are likely to be on the lookout for a number of new signings this summer as they bid to build a squad capable of winning the Premier League title next season.
A new goalkeeper is believed to be among the list of priorities for the Merseyside outfit.
The Reds finished in fourth place last term and missed out on a trophy after they were beaten 3-1 by Real Madrid in the Champions League final back in May.
Liverpool FC are still searching for their first major trophy since Klopp took over at Anfield back in the autumn of 2015.
