New Liverpool FC signing tipped to fit in well at Anfield
Tim Vickery believes that Fabinho will be a good fit for Liverpool FC moving forwards
Tim Vickery believes that Fabinho will be a good fit for Liverpool FC following his transfer to Anfield from Monaco this summer.
The Brazilian midfielder became the Reds’ first signing of the summer earlier in the transfer window as Jurgen Klopp moved quickly to bolster his squad at Anfield.
Fabinho joined the Reds from Monaco after having long been linked with a move to the Premier League and he will now be hoping to stake his claim for a regular spot in the first team at the Merseyside club.
The Brazil international will be set to link up with fellow summer signing Naby Keita at Anfield this summer.
And Brazilian football expert Vickery seems to think that Fabinho will be a good fit for the Anfield club moving forwards.
Speaking on the Sky Sports Transfer Talk podcast, Vickery said: “I see him as the kind of midfielder who will fit nicely into Klopp’s attacking philosophy…
“He isn’t the greatest defensively but he offers a great deal in possession.”
Liverpool FC will be aiming to challenge for the Premier League title next season, with the Reds having finished fourth and without a trophy last term.
The Reds reached the Champions League final after an impressive run in Europe but they were beaten 3-1 by Real Madrid in the showpiece in Kiev last month.
Liverpool FC are still searching for their first trophy under Jurgen Klopp since his appointment back in 2015.
