Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo, as quoted by Metro, is reporting that the Liverpool FC boss is keen on a move to bring Dembele to Anfield this summer as he looks to bolster his attacking line-up.
According to the same report, Demebele is considering his future at Camp Nou despite only having signed for the Spanish side last summer.
The story says that Liverpool FC chiefs have warned Klopp that pulling off an £88m move to try and sign Dembele this summer would be tricky.
However, despite this, it is being reported that Klopp is keen to meet up with Dembele’s mother in a bid to try and convince the 21-year-old that a move to Anfield would be right for him.
Liverpool FC have already been busy in the summer transfer window, with the Reds having tied up a deal to bring Fabinho to Anfield from Monaco last week.
The Reds are likely to be on the lookout for a number of signings this summer as Klopp looks to guide his side to a title challenge next season.
