Salah has earned a reputation as one of European football’s top attacking talents since his move to Anfield from AS Roma last year.
The 25-year-old scored a staggering 44 goals in all competitions to help Liverpool FC seal a top-four finish in the Premier League and reach the FA Cup final.
The Egypt international’s campaign ended in disappointment when he was forced off in the first half of the Champions League final after picking up a shoulder injury.
There were reports in Spain this week that Salah could be set for a move to FC Barcelona this summer.
However, the player’s agent Ramy Abbas Issa took to Twitter to emphatically rubbish those reports, writing: “This never happened. @English_AS you need better sources.”
Meanwhile, Liverpool FC are on the lookout for a number of new signings this summer as they look to assemble a team capable of winning the Premier League title next season.
The Reds have already completed their first signing of the summer by wrapping up a deal to bring Brazilian midfielder Fabinho to Anfield from Monaco last week.
