Jose Mourinho angry with Premier League about Liverpool FC fixture list – report
Jose Mourinho is not happy with the Premier League for their fixture scheduling for Liverpool FC
Jose Mourinho is not happy with the Premier League for supposedly giving Liverpool FC an unfair advantage with their fixtures this season, according to reports.
The Times is claiming that the Manchester United manager is furious with the top flight officials after it was confirmed that Liverpool FC will play each of their six Premier League games at home directly after their Champions League group games.
Their rivals Manchester United, Manchester City and Tottenham, meanwhile, have an even split of three away and three at home.
The same report says that both Pep Guardiola and Mauricio Pochettino are not bothered about the schedule, but Mourinho is said to be fuming about Liverpool FC’s supposed advantage from the fixture list.
The story also claims that Mourinho is likely to bring up the issue after the season gets under way.
Liverpool FC will be aiming to go one step further in the Champions League this season after Jurgen Klopp’s men reached the final but ended up losing to Real Madrid 3-1 last month in Kiev.
The Reds finished in fourth place in the Premier League table to book their place in the Champions League next season as they search for their first trophy under Klopp.
