Liverpool FC could reignite interest in signing quality 24-year-old – report
Liverpool FC could yet still reignite their bid to sign Nabil Fekir, according to reports
Liverpool FC could reignite a deal to try and sign Nabil Fekir from Lyon after the World Cup, according to reports in the British media.
The Liverpool Echo, as quoted by the Daily Express, is reporting that the Reds may not have yet given up their bid to try and bring the France international to Anfield this summer.
The Reds were on the verge of completing a deal to sign Fekir earlier this month but the proposed transfer fell through at the final hour.
That prompted Lyon to release a statement claiming that Fekir would be staying with the French club for next season.
However, the same report now says that Liverpool FC could still revive their interest in signing Fekir this summer after his involvement at the World Cup in Russia with France.
Liverpool FC are thought to be on the lookout for a number of new signings this summer as they look to try and build a squad capable of winning the title.
They have already secured the signing of Brazilian midfielder Fabinho from Monaco after they finished in fourth place in the table and without a trophy last term.
Liverpool FC are still searching for their first major trophy under Jurgen Klopp.
