Liverpool FC have secured the future of Rhian Brewster by tying the teenage talent down to his first professional contract, according to reports in the British media.

The Daily Telegraph is reporting that the Reds have secured the services of the 18-year-old on what is understood to be a five-year contract, to keep him at Anfield until the summer of 2023.

According to the same story, the news is welcome for Liverpool FC after Brewster was linked with a possible move away from the Merseyside outfit.

The same article says that the teenage striker will be part of Liverpool FC’s pre-season squad later this summer and he will put pen to paper on his new contract in the coming days.

Meanwhile, Liverpool FC are thought to be on the lookout for a range of new signings this summer as they bid to build a squad capable of winning the Premier League title next season.

The Reds finished in fourth place in the Premier League table and reached the Champions League final last term, but they are still searching for their first trophy under Jurgen Klopp.

Liverpool FC have already completed the signing of Brazilian midfielder Fabinho, and Naby Keita is set to move to the club later this summer.
