Sadio Mane has insisted that he is happy at Liverpool FC despite the recent speculation linking him with a transfer away from Anfield.

The Senegal international was one of the Reds’ top performing players last season as he helped the Merseyside outfit to secure a top-four finish in the Premier League and also reach the Champions League final.

Mane scored Liverpool FC’s goal in their 3-1 loss to Real Madrid in the Champions League final last month and managed 20 goals and eight assists in all competitions for the Reds last term.

There have been reports suggesting that Mane could be a transfer target for Real Madrid this summer.

However, the 26-year-old has insisted that he is happy at Anfield and has no plans to leave the club.

Mane told Austrian newspaper Salzburger Nachrichten: “I am very happy in Liverpool and my contract will last for three more years.

“But you never know what will happen in the future. I want to win trophies, especially the Champions League.”

Mane will be hoping to help Liverpool FC challenge for the Premier League title next season.

The Reds finished fourth in the top flight table last term as they booked their place in the Champions League for next season.

The Merseyside outfit will be hoping to mount a serious title challenge next term, with the Reds still searching for their first trophy since Jurgen Klopp’s appointment back in 2015.
