Lazio open to selling 23-year-old linked with Liverpool FC – report
Lazio are prepared to sell reported Liverpool FC target Thomas Strakosha this summer, say reports
Lazio are open to the prospect of selling goalkeeper Thomas Strakosha this summer after he was linked with a move to Liverpool FC, according to reports in Italy.
Italian outlet Calciomercato, as quoted by TEAMtalk, is reporting that the Serie A side would be willing to let the 23-year-old Albanian leave the club this summer for the right price.
The same report says that Liverpool FC have identified Strakosha as a possible target this summer as they look for a long-term replacement for Loris Karius.
According to the same article, Lazio value the shot-stopper at around €30m, and would be willing to let him go this summer as Liverpool FC ponder a move.
The article also claims that Liverpool FC have turned their attentions towards the Albanian goalkeeper after proposed moves for Alisson and Gianluigi Donnarumma proved too expensive.
Meanwhile, Liverpool FC have already completed their first signing of the summer transfer window by completing a deal to bring Brazilian midfielder Fabinho to the club from Monaco.
The Reds are thought to be on the lookout for a number of new signings this summer as Jurgen Klopp aims to guide his side to a genuine Premier League title challenge next term.
