Martins is sure to be one of the hottest priorities in the summer transfer market.
He is available to sign on a free transfer this summer after the Portuguese talent cancelled his contract with Sporting Lisbon.
The Portuguese side are in turmoil and Martins is one of four players who has moved to terminate their deals due to just cause.
The 23-year-old would have commanded a significant transfer fee giving his rising status as a star of Portuguese football.
Martins netted 13 times in 52 games in all competitions last season to attract interest from Arsenal, Liverpool FC and Spurs.
