The Reds are believed to be on the lookout for a new shot-stopper this summer after Loris Karius’ nightmare in the Champions League final last weekend.
AS Roma star Alisson has long been touted as a possible target for Jurgen Klopp’s team as the German looks to bolster his squad this summer.
Karius made two high-profile errors as Liverpool FC slumped to a disappointing 3-1 loss to Real Madrid in the Champions League final in Kiev last Saturday.
However, former Venezuela international Moreno feels that Liverpool FC will have to try and conclude a move early if they want to sign Alisson this summer as his price could rise during and after the World Cup.
Speaking in an interview with ESPN FC, Moreno said: “If Alisson is your guy, and if Liverpool want this guy, they better get on it quickly.
“If he has a good World Cup with Brazil then maybe others come into play and raises the price.”
Liverpool FC ended the season without a trophy after their disappointing Champions League defeat last weekend.
The Reds ended up in fourth place in the Premier League as they managed to secure qualification for next season’s Champions League.
Liverpool FC are still searching for their first trophy since Klopp’s appointment in 2015.
