Liverpool FC could miss out on one of their prime summer transfer targets – report
Liverpool FC could miss out on signing Alisson because he favours a move to Real Madrid, say reports
Liverpool FC could be set to miss out on the signing of Alisson from AS Roma as the goalkeeper wants a move to Real Madrid, according to reports in Spain.
Spanish newspaper Marca, as quoted by the Daily Mail, is reporting that the Brazilian goalkeeper is prepared to reject all offers from other clubs and instead hold out for a move to Real Madrid this summer.
Liverpool FC have been strongly linked with a move for the shot-stopper in recent days following Loris Karius’ nightmare display in the Champions League final against Real Madrid last month.
Real Madrid were not thought to be on the lookout for a new goalkeeper this summer but Zinedine Zidane’s exit from the club has now prompted speculation that they could now be keen to bring in a new man between the posts.
It is reported that Zidane was fiercely loyal to Keylor Navas, but the Spanish giants could now be on the lookout for a new shot stopper.
According to the same report, Alisson is wanted by a host of Europe’s top clubs, including Liverpool FC, Chelsea FC and Paris Saint-Germain.
But the situation at Real Madrid could prompt the 25-year-old goalkeeper to hold out for a move to the Bernabeu this summer, according to the same article.
