Paul Ince identifies how many Liverpool FC signings Jurgen Klopp needs
The Liverpool FC legend believes Jurgen Klopp needs the Reds to add three more signings to their squad
Paul Ince believes Liverpool FC need to sign three more players in the summer transfer window.
The Reds have already brought in Brazil international Fabinho in a £39m deal from Ligue 1 side AS Monaco earlier in the summer transfer window.
Guinea international Naby Keita has also completed a switch to Liverpool FC in a £48m deal from RB Leipzig after the two clubs reached an agreement last summer.
Liverpool FC finished in fourth place in the Premier League table last term to secure a spot in the Champions League.
The Reds have also been linked with a move to sign Lyon attacker Nabil Fekir, AS Roma goalkeeper Alisson Becker and Stoke City playmaker Xherdan Shaqiri in the summer transfer window.
Liverpool FC will be hoping to challenge Manchester City and Manchester United for the title next season as Jurgen Klopp looks to become the first Reds manager to win the Premier League crown.
Former Reds midfielder Ince believes Liverpool FC need three more signings in the summer transfer window.
“Getting Keita in from [RB] Leipzig, top player,” Ince is quoted as saying by the Daily Mirror. “Fabinho, yes, I like him.
“I think they have done a good bit of business. I think they have to replace [Emre] Can, it is a shame that he has gone.
“I like him as a player, I think he has all the components that you want from a midfield player. He is strong, can get it down and can past.
“I think they will get a goalkeeper in. Irrespective of what happened in the Champions League. I am not going down that road but I think they need another goalkeeper.
“[Klopp] has not been sure all season, whether it is Karius or Mignolet. I think [Mignolet] will wanna go.
“I like [Trent] Alexander-Arnold, he is a young kid and will improve, he will come back.
“So on the basis, I think they will need another striker. I think they need a target man. I know they have got the little players for how he plays but I think they need a target man.
“You need a target man sometimes, when you are chasing the game. When you just put balls into the box and I think someone like that.”
Liverpool FC haven’t won the Premier League title but finished in second place in 2002, 2009 and 2014.
The Reds have qualified for the Champions League in the last two seasons under Klopp following the German’s appointment in 2015.
