Brazil media outlet CalcioInsider, as quoted by the Daily Mirror, is reporting that Liverpool FC are set to turn to Paqueta to bolster their attacking options this summer.
The same article states that Jurgen Klopp views Paqueta as a potential alternative to Fekir after a deal to sign the France international collapsed earlier this month.
According to the same story, Paqueta would be open to joining his compatriot Roberto Firmino at the Merseyside outfit in the summer transfer window.
The 20-year-old playmaker has scored three goals and has made four assists in 15 appearances for Flamengo to earn some interest from some European clubs.
Liverpool FC could face competition for Paqueta after another report suggested that the talented Brazilian had travelled to London to hold talks with interested suitors about a €50m (£43m) move to Europe.
The Reds are in fourth place in the Premier League table last season to ensure their continued participation in the Champions League ahead of 2018-19 season.
LiverpoolFC signed Brazil international Fabinho in a £40m deal from AS Monaco earlier this month.
