Liverpool FC have informed FC Barcelona and Real Madrid that Mohamed Salah is not for sale, according to a report in Spain.
Spanish media outlet Mundo Deportivo, as quoted by the Daily Star, is reporting that Liverpool FC are having to fend off interest from the Spanish duo in the current transfer window.
The same article states that Salah has pledged his allegiance to Liverpool FC but that hasn’t deterred FC Barcelona or Real Madrid from testing Liverpool FC’s resolve this summer.
According to the same story, the Merseyside outfit have made it clear to both La Liga clubs that Salah is not for sale at any price in the summer transfer window.
Salah scored 32 times in the Premier League last season to win the PFA player of the year award after finishing ahead of Harry Kane in the goal-scoring charts.
The Liverpool FC forward netted 10 times in the Champions League to help the Reds reach their first European Cup final since 2007.
The Merseyside outfit lost 3-1 to La Liga giants Real Madrid in the Kiev showpiece after Salah suffered a dislocated shoulder in the first half of the final.
Liverpool FC finished in fourth place in the Premier League table.
