Jurgen Klopp told Liverpool FC can demand £150m for 25-year-old star
Liverpool FC star Mohamed Salah is worth around £150m following his impressive debut season at Anfield
Robbie Savage has warned Mohamed Salah’s suitors that Liverpool FC can demand £150m for the Egypt international this summer.
The 25-year-old enjoyed a brilliant first season at the Merseyside outfit following his £39m move to Liverpool FC from AS Roma last summer.
Salah scored 32 times in 36 games in the Premier League in the current campaign to finish as the division’s leading goal-scorer.
The Egypt international won the PFA player of the year ahead of Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne.
Salah scored 10 goals in Liverpool FC’s run to the Champions League final before he was forced off in the Kiev showpiece.
The African forward dislocated his shoulder following a challenge with Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos in the 3-1 loss.
Salah could further put himself in the shop window with an impressive performance in the World Cup this summer.
Former Man United midfielder Savage believes Salah could cost upwards of £150m in the summer transfer window.
“Five months ago he wasn’t worth £150m. Coutinho went to Barcelona for £140m,” Savage told BBC Radio 5 Live.
“On the evidence of this season, Salah has to be worth £150m. Scoring all those goals, winning the Golden Boot and his performances in the Champions League.”
Liverpool FC finished in fourth place in the Premier League table and finished five points adrift of Chelsea FC.
