Liverpool FC are pondering a move to try and sign Moses Simon from Gent this summer, according to reports
Liverpool FC are pondering a move to sign Nigeria winger Moses Simon from Gent this summer, according to reports in the British media.
The Liverpool Echo is reporting that the Reds are keeping tabs on the 22-year-old’s situation with a view to making a move to try and bring him to Anfield this summer.
According to the same story, Liverpool FC boss Jurgen Klopp remains keen to bolster his attacking options following the arrival of Fabinho from Monaco last month.
The Reds are said to be keeping tabs on Simon’s situation at Gent. The winger has a year left on his contract with the Belgian side and it is expected that he would cost a fee of around £10m, according to the same story.
Liverpool FC have reportedly been heavily scouting Simon recently, with the Nigeria international also attracting interest from a number of other top clubs.
The Merseyside outfit are likely to be on the lookout for significant reinforcements this summer as Klopp looks to assemble a squad capable of challenging for the Premier League title next season.
The Reds finished in fourth place last term and missed out on a trophy when they were beaten by Real Madrid in the Champions League final.
