Liverpool FC are closing in on a deal to sign Nabil Fekir from Lyon, according to reports in the British media.
BBC Sport is reporting that the Reds are on the verge of being able to conclude talks with Lyon about the transfer of the 24-year-old France international, who has been strongly linked with a move to Anfield all summer.
The same report says that transfer fee could total around £52.75m plus a further £4.4m in add-ons as Liverpool FC look to wrap up their second summer signing.
Liverpool FC began their summer recruitment drive last week when they tied up a deal to bring Fabinho to Anfield from Monaco.
The Reds are thought to be on the hunt for a number of new signings this summer as Jurgen Klopp looks to assemble a squad capable of challenging for the Premier League title next season.
The Merseyside outfit finished in fourth place in the Premier League table last term and without a trophy after they were beaten by Real Madrid in the Champions League final back in May.
The Reds are still searching for their first major trophy since Klopp’s appointment as Brendan Rodgers’ permanent successor at Anfield back in the autumn of 2015.
