The Reds have been heavily linked with a move to sign Lyon attacker Fekir in the summer transfer window.
The Merseyside outfit have funds to spend after the Reds sold Philippe Coutinho in a £142m deal from FC Barcelona in the January transfer window.
However, Fekir’s proposed move to Liverpool FC fell through due to the Reds’ reported concerns about a knee injury.
Liverpool FC have already signed Brazil international Fabinho from AS Monaco to bolster their options in the middle of the park.
Sky Sports News reporter Graves believes Liverpool FC could still raid Ligue 1 again to sign Fekir before deadline day.
“It is a really tricky one,” Graves told the Transfer Talk podcast. “The agent is desperate for the deal to happen.
“The player wants to move to Liverpool one of the biggest clubs in the world. The quietness from Liverpool makes me think a deal is not going to happen.”
The 18-time English champions are keen to secure Fekir’s signature ahead of the close of the summer transfer window.
The 24-year-old scored 18 times and made eight assists in 30 appearances in the French top flight last season.
