Sky Sports reporter reveals signings Liverpool FC want to make
Vinny O'Connor says Liverpool FC are looking to bring in some creative reinforcements this summer
Liverpool FC are looking to bring in some creative talent to their squad this summer, according to Sky Sports reporter Vinny O’Connor.
The Reds are believed to be on the lookout for a number of new signings this year as they look to try and build a squad capable of winning the title next term.
Liverpool FC ended up in fourth place in the Premier League table last season and they also reached the Champions League final in style under Jurgen Klopp.
The Merseyside outfit have already begun their summer recruitment drive by bringing in Brazilian midfielder Fabinho from Monaco at the start of the transfer window.
The Reds had been thought to be closing in on a deal to land attacker Nabil Fekir from Lyon last weekend but the move has seemingly fallen through.
Now, Sky Sports reporter O’Connor says that the Reds are looking to ramp up their summer spending as they bid to bring in some creative reinforcements following Philippe Coutinho’s sale to FC Barcelona back in January.
Speaking on the Sky Sports Transfer Talk podcast, O’Connor said: “I did get out of Liverpool that their foot is foot on the pedal while the World Cup starts on recruitment.
“They are still looking to fill those creative areas.”
Liverpool FC are still looking to win their first trophy under Klopp following his appointment at Anfield back in the autumn of 2015.
