Liverpool FC are ready to enter the race to sign unhappy Chelsea FC goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois, according to a report in Italy.
Italian media website Gianliucadimarzio.com, as quoted by Metro, is reporting that the Reds are ready to launch an offer to sign the Belgium international.
The same article states that Courtois is ready to leave the west London side following a difficult campaign for Chelsea FC under Antonio Conte.
According to the same story, the Belgian shot stopper is determined to force a move this summer as the 26-year-old looks to secure a new challenge.
Real Madrid have been regularly linked with a move to sign Courtois, although David De Gea is though to be los Blancos’ top choice to replace Keylor Navas.
Liverpool FC goalkeeper Loris Karius made two mistakes in the Reds’ 3-1 loss to Real Madrid in the Champions League final in Kiev last weekend.
The Reds have also been linked with AS Roma goalkeeper Alisson Becker and Atletico Madrid shot stopper Jan Oblak over the past 12 months.
Liverpool FC are also touted with an interest in England international Jack Butland after Stoke City were relegated to the Championship.
