The Germany international is being tipped to have a big World Cup after stepping out of the shadow of Miroslav Klose ahead of the major tournament in Russia.
Werner has established himself as one of Europe’s promising strikers following his prolific form for Bundesliga outfit RB Leipzig.
The 22-year-old has scored 42 goals in 77 appearances in all competitions due his two seasons at RB Leipzig following a move from Stuttgart in 2016.
Liverpool FC have been regularly linked with a swoop to sign Werner to bolster Jurgen Klopp’s attacking options ahead of the 2018-19 Premier League season.
According to a report on Thursday, the Reds will face competition from Serie A giants AC Milan to sign the German striker in the current transfer window.
Sky Sports News reporter Sheth believes Werner will end up in the Premier League when the RB Leipzig star decides to leave the Bundesliga outfit.
“His next move will be the Premier League but not quite yet,” Sheth told the Transfer Talk podcast. “Lots of English clubs interested in him.”
