Manchester United will be willing to let David De Gea join Real Madrid this summer but only if they are able to negotiate a deal for Jan Oblak, according to reports in Spain.

Spanish outlet Diario Gol, as quoted by Sky Sports, is reporting that Real Madrid are keen on a deal to sign De Gea this summer as they look to bolster their squad ahead of next season.

Manchester United will reportedly only be willing to do business, however, if they are able to conclude a deal to sign Atletico Madrid stopper Oblak.

The same report, though, says that could be unlikely, because Atletico Madrid are unwilling to sell Oblak for anything less than their £80m asking price.

De Gea is no stranger to reports linking him with a move to Real Madrid after he came close to signing for the Spanish side back in the summer of 2015, before the deal fell through due to paperwork issues.

The 27-year-old has been earning huge amounts of praise for his strong performances for Manchester United in recent months as he helped them to seal a second placed finish in the Premier League.

Meanwhile, Manchester United completed their first two signings of the summer last week by tying up deals for Diogo Dalot and Fred.
