Man United could reignite interest in signing 27-year-old Brazilian – report
Man United could make a move to sign Alex Sandro from Juventus this summer, say reports in Italy
Manchester United could be set to reignite their interest in signing Alex Sandro from Juventus this summer, according to reports in Italy.
Italian outlet Mediaset Premium, as quoted by the Daily Star, is reporting that the Red Devils could look to try and bring the 27-year-old defender to Old Trafford from Turin this summer after all.
Manchester United had been touted as a possible destination for the Brazilian left-back, but the latest reports suggested that they had cooled their interest in Sandro.
According to the same report, Juventus have set an asking price of £52.8m to sell Alex Sandro this summer if they are to let him leave the club.
The story says that Sandro has also been attracting interest from French side Paris Saint-Germain, with Chelsea FC having been strongly linked with a move to land the Brazilian full-back last summer.
According to the same article, Red Devils boss Jose Mourinho is keen to strengthen the left side of his defence this summer.
It is claimed that Alex Sandro is keen on a move to the Premier League after having missed out on a place in the Brazil squad for this summer’s World Cup in Russia.
