Manchester United will demand a transfer fee of at least £70m if Anthony Martial continues to push for a transfer away from Old Trafford this summer, according to reports in the British media.

The Daily Star is reporting that the Red Devils are reluctant to let the 22-year-old French forward leave the club, and would only do so if their hefty asking price is met.

The same report says that Manchester United want to keep hold of Martial this summer, but his agent was quoted last week as saying that the forward wants a move away from the club.

The French forward struggled to hold down a regular spot in the first team at Old Trafford last season and it seems that he will have to work hard to break back into Jose Mourinho’s plans.

The story say that both Paris Saint-Germain and Tottenham are keen on signing Martial this summer, but Manchester United’s reported £70m asking price is likely to deter the north London side.

It is also claimed in the same article that Manchester United will manage to keep hold of goalkeeper David De Gea, who has once again been linked with a move to Real Madrid this summer.
