ESPN FC is reporting that the defender has been touted as a target for both the Red Devils and the Catalan giants this summer, even though he is under contract at Sevilla until June 2021.
According to the same report, Lenglet has a €35m release clause in his contract with Sevilla, and both Manchester United and FC Barcelona have been touted as possible destinations for the 22-year-old this summer.
Now, the player’s agent has insisted that Lenglet will make a firm decision about his situation by the end of June.
Lenglet’s agent Gregory Dakad told ESPN FC: “He [Lenglet] knows he has to think a lot about it and he will take a decision by the end of the month.
“We have offers from clubs in various countries and he is thinking about what the best decision is.
“He is not ruling out any country in Europe.”
Manchester United have already begun their summer spending spree by wrapping up deals for both Fred and Diogo Dalot last week.
The Red Devils are aiming to build a squad capable of challenging for the Premier League title next season after they ended up in second place in the table last season and without a trophy.
Jose Mourinho’s side ended the season on a disappointing note when they were beaten 1-0 by Chelsea FC in the FA Cup final.
