Eden Hazard has admitted that Manchester United are not an easy team to play against under Jose Mourinho.

The Red Devils have just finished their second season under the Portuguese coach after his appointment as the club’s new manager following Louis van Gaal’s exit in the summer of 2016.

It ended up being a largely disappointing second campaign for Mourinho at Old Trafford, with the Red Devils ending the season without a trophy and finishing second in the Premier League.

Indeed, it was Hazard who proved the difference when the Belgium international netted the only goal of the game in the first half of Chelsea FC’s FA Cup final win over Manchester United at Wembley last month.

Mourinho led Manchester United to the Europa League and League Cup trophies in his first campaign at Old Trafford but his second season ended up trophyless.

Regardless of their disappointing campaign, however, Hazard believes that Mourinho has already had a positive impact since taking over at Old Trafford two years ago.

Speaking to BT Sport before the FA Cup final, Hazard said: “I think they are strong. It’s not easy to score against them.

“They don’t concede a lot – it’s Mourinho’s style. They are aggressive and have quality players of course.”

Manchester United will be looking to challenge for the Premier League title next season as they look to win the trophy for the first time since 2013.
