Marouane Fellaini is set to commit his future to Manchester United by signing a new two-year contract with the Red Devils, according to reports in Belgium.

Belgian outlet HLN, as quoted by Metro, is reporting that the 30-year-old midfielder has decided to stay at Old Trafford after the Red Devils made a breakthrough in talks with the former Everton man.

Fellaini’s future has been a constant source of speculation over the last few months due to the fact that his current deal at the club is due to expire this summer.

He has inevitably been linked with a free transfer away from Old Trafford as the clock ticks down on his current deal with the Red Devils.

However, it is now being claimed that Fellaini is going to end up staying at Manchester United after the Red Devils managed to convince him to commit by signing a new contract.

According to the same story, Fellaini is comfortable with the new deal and he is prepared to stay at Old Trafford until 2020 at the earliest.

Meanwhile, Manchester United have so far only signed two new players this summer after concluding deals for both Brazilian midfielder Fred and full-back Diogo Dalot.
