The 19-year-old became Manchester United’s second signing of the summer on Wednesday when he joined the Red Devils from FC Porto.
Dalot had been strongly touted as a target for Manchester United in recent weeks and the teenager will now be looking to establish himself as a regular in the first team at Old Trafford in the coming seasons.
The teenager is generally known for playing as a right-back, but he admits that he will be happy to play in any position that Jose Mourinho assigns to him.
Speaking in an interview with Manchester United’s website, Dalot said: “Yeah, I prefer to play at right-back, but if I need to play in any position, I will play, no problem.”
The teenager also spoke about his style of play and said that his hard-working attitude has helped him to earn his move to Old Trafford.
He added: “Like a hard-working player, I think. I’m very instant in improving and I’m mostly a hard-working player, I think.”
Manchester United are still believed to be on the lookout for further signings this summer despite also having wrapped up a deal to land Fred this week.
The Red Devils finished second in the Premier League table and without a trophy last season.
